Laura Narimatsu Wasserman

Laura’s primary area of practice is Trusts and Estates.  This includes drafting estate planning documents, trust administration, probate, conservatorship and guardianship.

Education: Laura attended the California State University of Long Beach where she graduated with honors with a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice.  In 2006, Laura graduated from Golden Gate University of Law with a Juris Doctor and has been practicing in Torrance, California ever since.  During law school, Laura interned at the Los Angeles Superior Court and volunteered for such organizations as the Go For Broke National Education Center Hanashi Oral History Program.

Volunteer and Organizations: Laura continues to volunteer for the Go For Broke National Education Center’s Hanashi Oral History Program and volunteers her legal services for HALSA (HIV & AIDS Legal Service Association), the Japanese American Bar Association and the Little Tokyo Service Center.   Laura was previously the liaison between the Los Angeles County Barrister’s Association and the Trust & Estate Section of the Los Angeles County Bar Association.   Laura is currently a member of the Japanese American Bar Association and the Los Angeles County Bar Association.

Other Languages: Fluent in conversational Japanese.
